Feb 22 - Mar 2, 2026

This week the group discovered that skills are products, not just processes. Matt shipped a plugin for client onboarding, Guillem started building for the Claude marketplace, and someone turned a marketing skill into a paid SaaS. Meanwhile, Roberto set up an OpenClaw cron job at the airport to track his flight. He wasn't sure he could trust it. Neither are we.

The Big Story: Skills Are Products Now

The Claude plugin and skills marketplace went from theoretical to real this week. Matt built happyceo-plugin, a system for onboarding new clients to his agency's internal workflow. Guillem started building marketplace skills from his own standards repo. And Matt flagged Magister Marketing, a site where Corey Haines packaged a marketing skill into a standalone product.

The shift is subtle but significant. Skills aren't static documentation. They iterate. They improve with use. They replace the confluence doc nobody reads. Matt's take: "What I love about skills is that they are quite close to reality. You can keep iterating on a process rather than it being fixed and having to be right straight away."
